The Caletta’s wide proportions, low profile and sensuous, lacquered tubular form seems to recall the playful Postmodern of Memphis masters Ettore Sottsass and Michele de Lucchi. Its mild steel frame, finished in a high gloss pastel, supports a mock tufted upholstered seat and bolster cushion backrest. Just add champagne and a Sicilian sea view.
